Kraftort Binntal
Without ever hearing about power sources and power zones, the hiker can be surprised after a walk through the Binntal, when he returns joyfully and energetically to the valley. The wide branched Binntal in Wallis is known for its mineral riches.

The wild nature and the picturesque village of Binn take us back to the past and it is a wealth of colors and shapes.
The road through the Twingi was very dangerous in the winter. Until the construction of the tunnel between Ausserbinn and Binn (1965), the self-sufficient valley was cut off from the outside world for weeks in the winter. Today, the old path offers cyclists and pedestrians a spectacular landscape experience. With its tunnels, the supporting and border walls, it represents an impressive monument from another era. The new LandArt exhibition opens in Binntal every year from mid-June.
